This year Toi Māori Aotearoa will be supporting three Regional Writers Hui. These hui will take place on the weekend of the 13th-15th of October and will vary in length from one day hui to weekend-long hui.
Each regional hui look to extend and elaborate further on the National Māori Writers Hui which was held in 2016. Each hui is for anyone interested in writing and are made up of a mixture of presentations, workshops with opportunities to write, network, read and share current writing projects.
The three regions under the current Te Hā: Contemporary Māori Writers collective are: Te Hā ki Tāmaki, Te Hā ki Te Ūpoko o te Ika and Te Hā ki Te Waipounamu.
