Business Development Officer for Toi Māori Aotearoa—Māori Arts Aotearoa

Position Description
Toi Māori Aptearoa seeks an enterprising person with an interest in Māori art and culture for the role of Business Development Officer. In this role you will deliver projects and develop initiatives that increase revenue streams for Toi Māori Aotearoa and Māori artists.

The successful candidate for this role should possess sales, promotion, marketing and fundraising experiences, working knowledge of e-commerce and social media platforms and excellent communication skills.

This is a one year fixed-term contract from 8 February 2022 based in central Wellington.

Established in 1996, Toi Māori Aotearoa – Māori Arts Aotearoa promotes the broad spectrum of Māori art practice at a local, national and international level. The Toi Māori Group comprises three entities: Toi Māori Aotearoa Charitable Trust, with its eight national Māori art committees, Toi Māori Ltd and Toi Māori Market Ltd.
