The Museum At Warm Springs is the final Northwest venue for the first major international touring exhibition to celebrate Maori weaving, Toi Maori: The Eternal Thread—Visits Warm Springs. In addition to being a visually stunning exhibition, Toi Maori: The Eternal Thread demonstrates the spiritual significance of weaving within the Maori culture of Aotearoa (New Zealand).
Maori weavers, as well as a storyteller will demonstrate their arts at the Museum daily from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on June 18, 20, 21, 22, and 23. The Museum At Warm Springs was chosen to be the destination for this inspiring, highly desired exhibition because Maori artists feel a special kinship with Native American artists of the Northwest.
The Museum At Warm Springs is located at 2189 Highway 26 on the Warm Springs Reservation. Hours are 9 a.m. To 5 p.m. Daily. Admission is $6 Adults, $5 Seniors and Students, $3 children. Please call for further information: 541-553-3331.
