Regarded as one of New Zealand’s greatest guitarists, Billy TK has been wooing crowds since the 1960s. While his guitar-playing still reflects the early influence of Jimi Hendrix, he often plays softer grooves these days, influenced by his spiritual journeys and the music of Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin. Rodger Cunningham (Te Arawa/Ngati Raukawa) is a versatile musician who sings, plays the bass, keyboards, drums and lead guitar. He’ll play any type of music from traditional Maori instruments to hard rock and everything in between. He’s been recording music and performing live for more than 20 years. Steve Rangihuna

Steve Rangihuna (Ngati Porou) is a formally trained jazz guitarist who completed his studies in Australia. He has performed extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and Brazil, where he lived for six years. In more recent times, he’s played regularly with a number of top New Zealand musicians, in particular jazz diva Whirimako Black. While he can turn his hand to any jazz style, his favourite groove is bebop.
