Manaaki Tangata Workshops 2006

The National Maori Music Summit will feature music workshops sponsored by Manaaki Tangata for established and up-and-coming musicians at Wellington High School's Taraika Marae on Friday 3 November, commencing at 8.30am.

The workshops will be the perfect opportunity to see the latest music products, hook up with some of the movers and shakers in local music and hear from some of our most successful Maori artists and bands. The Manaaki Tangata music workshops are a must for established and emerging musicians.

Who should attend?
If you are an established or emerging musician, composer, producer, manager, tutor, teacher or lecturer. If you are involved in kapa haka, kaupapa Maori music, moteatea, hip hop, reggae, jazz, classical, opera. If you play in a covers band, school band, band playing original music, jazz trio, brass band, orchestra, solo.

Anyone is invited to come along - and best of all, the workshops are free!
