Pao Pao Pao Expressions of Interest

Maori musicians are invited to submit expressions of interest to perform at this year's Pao Pao Pao event, part of the National Maori Music Summit

National Maori Music Summit
27 – 31 October 2008
Wellington Town Hall

No reira, koutou ma, huri noa, kia kaha, kia tere te whakahoki mai!

This document is an invitation to all interested artists to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the National Maori Music Summit 2008 (NMMS) to be held 27 – 31 October 2008 at the Wellington Town Hall.

The National Maori Music Summit is an annual event run under the auspices of the Puatatangi artform team of Toi Maori Aotearoa.

The Puatatangi committee is anxious to ensure that a transparent selection process is established and that it is not seen to exhibit any bias in regard to the final line-up in the National Maori Music Summit line-up.

Artists are encouraged to fill out the entire form because the more information the committee gets, the better decision we will make. Any supporting information, i.e. reviews, tour itineraries, audio CDs, bios, publicity shots, testimonials etc should also be included where the artist considers that this may aid their application.

Finally, please bear in mind that there are limited places available. Please know that whatever the outcome of assessment of your EOI, we value all of our talented and wonderful artists and wish you good luck.

Applications close on 1 August 2008.

Please send your completed form to:
Charlie Holland
Toi Maori Aotearoa
PO Box 9570
Wellington
