New Artwork for Ruaihona Wharekai November 2003
From 7 , 9 November 2003 a hui was held at Ruaihona Marae in Te Teko, regarding the painting and beautification of the wharekai interior.
The hapu met with builders and artists to discuss the new artwork. Led by Derek Lardelli, visitors came from Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi, Toi Maori and Toihoukura. Ruaihona now looks forward to the next stage when Toihoukura artists will install the artworks.
