Te Uhi Wananga at WOMAD
At the invitation of WOMAD 2008, Te Uhi will be holding their ta moko wananga in New Plymouth.

Te Uhi a Mataora committee were invited by the organisers of WOMAD to be part of the 2008 event which is held annually in Taranaki.
Ta moko artists participating in the wananga are:
- Derek Lardelli (Gisborne)
- Mark Kopua (East Coast)
- Richard Francis (Rotorua)
- Turumakina Duley (Auckland)
This is a fantastic opportunity for Te Uhi a Mataora to promote kaupapa ta moko in the Taranaki region and in the environment of the WOMAD festival.
