TE REA is seeking expressions of interest from Maori choreographers, playwrights, directors, performers, actors and dancers

Te Ope o Rehua (the contemporary Maori performance arts committee of Toi Maori Aotearoa) is hosting a wananga to develop innovative Maori performance.

The kaupapa of TE REA is to provide a supportive, challenging and stimulating environment to encourage and support new dance and drama initiatives in Aotearoa. TE REA will support:

  • 3 submissions towards the development of new works
  • 12 performers to take part in the wananga
