Mihi whakatau - to welcome
Mihi whakahoki - to respond
Mihimihi - to talk with vision

Mihi - Vision Talking will feature works by 20 young Maori visual artists working in ceramics, painting, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture. Curated by artists Ngatai Taepa and Hemi Macgregor, with the continued support of Tinakori Gallery, the exhibition will coincide with the New Zealand International Arts Festival 2006.

Mihi - Vision Talking follows a successful series of exhibitions of contemporary Maori art to be held in partnership with Tinakori Gallery in Wellington.

Working with a professional art gallery promotes the profiles of our Maori artists nationally and internationally, and aligns with the increasing global interest in indigenous art.
